Five card slots that comfortably fit two cards each, for a total of up to 10 cards. The centre fold also takes a folded stack of US, Canadian, or UK bills. The card slots are cut deliberately snug so they stretch into the right fit after 2 to 4 weeks of daily carry.

2.9 inches by 4 inches by 0.4 inches thick when empty. Sized for front-pocket carry and folds closed to a very slim profile, roughly the thickness of three credit cards.

Is the 5 Card Wallet better for front-pocket or back-pocket carry?

Front-pocket carry is what this wallet is designed for. At 0.4 inches thick empty and 4 inches wide, it slips flat into a front jeans or chino pocket without bulk. You can carry it in a back pocket, but the whole point of a slim card wallet is to drop the back-pocket lump that a bifold creates.

How many cards fit in a slim card wallet before it gets tight?

Five to ten cards is the comfortable range. At 5 cards, one per slot, the wallet is the thinnest. At 10 cards, two per slot, the leather stretches to fit but stays flat in a front pocket. Above 10 cards the slots get crowded and you should step up to our Traditional Bifold for six slots and a full billfold.

Does the 5 Card Wallet have a billfold for unfolded cash?

No. The 5 Card Wallet has a centre fold that holds a folded stack of bills, not a full-width billfold pocket. If you carry cash daily and want it unfolded, our Traditional Bifold has a full-width billfold alongside six card slots.

Does the 5 Card Wallet have RFID protection?

No. Leather itself does not block RFID signals, and we do not build shielding into the wallet. If you want RFID protection, add our Wallet Gauntlet, a credit-card-sized RFID-blocking card that slides into any slot and shields every card next to it.

How long does a full-grain leather wallet take to break in?

A slim front-pocket wallet, built to last. Handmade in Nelson, British Columbia from thick full-grain leather, this is the minimalist carry in our wallet lineup. Five card slots plus a centre fold for folded cash, saddle-stitched by hand with waxed Tiger thread from Julius Koch, and finished with hand-burnished edges.

Five slots hold up to 10 cards (two per pocket), and the interior fold takes a folded stack of US, Canadian, or UK bills. Dimensions: 2.9" x 4" x 0.4", sized for front-pocket carry so you can feel the difference against a bulky bifold.

Full-grain leather softens with use, darkens into a rich patina, and moulds to the shape of your carry. Four colours: Natural, English Tan, Heritage Brown, and Black. Backed by our lifetime guarantee. If it ever fails, we repair or replace it free of charge.
