Leather Field Notes Cover

Great little note book. The leather cover is well made and has room for business cards and the note pages.

It's great. My only quibble is the length: if it was just a wee bit shorter it would be lower than the top if my jean's pocket and be more secure.

My wife absolutely loves the quality and great craftsmanip that went into making this leather cover. She can't wait to break in the leather for the unusual patina to take over. The english tan colour is a little darker and matte than the 5 card wallet I purchased awhile back. Just a reminder, remember the colour and finish will be different sometimes from some of the products with the same colour. That's normal. Not every piece of leather will look alike.

The Leather Field Notes Cover does the job of protecting my notebook, keeping a pen handy, and being pleasing to the eye and touch. I was worried in would be too bulky for my sling pouch but it fit like it was meant to be. Great Customer Service.

Before I bought this cover my notebooks would get torn and folded multiple times a week. This cover keeps all my notes safe and looking stylish at the same time. The engraving could be deeper in my opinion but still looks great.

I use this Field Notes Journal for my regular office meetings and it's a perfect size. The leather is supple and has that very nice leather smell. I am sure this will only look better as it gets aged. Highly recommended.

I thought I would take a minute and share what I would call my real world experience with this product.It has probably been close to two years since I purchased my Field Notes cover and wanted to share my experience.Out of the box, very impressive. No question about the quality of the material or workmanship. Definitely as advertised!Here comes the real world part... My cover came with pen loops attached to both the front and rear of the cover and I quickly found that the pen loops did not work for me simply because I would carry this every day in my back pocket, so it was with no small amount of trepidation that I cut the pen loop's off. Call me crazy, but I did it and strangely enough the portions which remained actually helped to stabilize the cover when it was shoved in my back pocket on a daily basis while I was photographing wildlife.I love this cover !! It has withstood the realities of hard every day use in the field. I could care less about scars on the leather and I'm not above taping the book insert as shown in the pics. Would I buy again ? Absolutely !!!

Love the notebook cover! Quality is exceptional. I use Moleskine notebooks and find that if you put the back cover all the way through, you can use the elastic for the notebook to hold the cover closed conveniently. Great design!

This field notes cover is absolutely perfect. Like all Popov leather products this definitely does not disappoint. Beautiful craftsmanship, nice grain, will age very nicely. Perfect size, slides into the back pocket and fits nicely in the hand. Pen loops are great. Good and snug and keeps the cover closed. Card slots are also snug. Its perfect! Highly recommend!

This is my second notebook cover from Popov Leather, my first being one of their Hobonichi covers. I carry a Field Notes (or notebook of similar size) with me every day and having a solid, great looking leather cover that also holds my pen has added a lot to my every day carry. I didn't think it was possible to enjoy taking notes more. Like the Hobonichi cover, I would highly recommend this cover for anyone who carries notebooks of this size.

The quality of this notebook cover if difficult to describe without being able to handle it. It's beautiful to look at, is soft in the hand, and the aroma of the leather completes the package. I only wish that British racing-green was a thread option as that color would be a show-stopper - especially with the English Tan leather.

I've been searching a long time for a leather notebook cover that was sturdy yet simple and elegant, and the quest is over. I couldn't be happier with the Field Notes cover, and it's a perfect companion to my full-size A5. Popov rules.

I purchased a Field note cover in English Tan recently and I am really impressed with the quality and functionality of this super simple piece of EDC. I have used a lot of notebooks and covers but have to say this one is really the very best. Since the minute I received the package this has been a constant companion either in my pocket or briefcase. There is something really interesting in the marriage of a super simple small but sturdy notebook and a top quality cover. Great size and a great asset for staying organized on the move. Add a Parker Jotter and you are set. I was sceptical on the size of the Field Notes but truthfully its very functional.
